Botox Service in Enfield Hertfordshire: For a younger looking appearance
Currently in the UK the Medical aesthetics industry is unregulated. This means treatments can be carried out by practitioners with little or no medical qualifications.
At Village Dental Ltd. We guarantee that all treatments are administered by fully qualified aesthetic Dentists registered with the General Dental Council (GDC). Our clinic offers a wide an extensive range of aesthetic treatments, including chemical peels and Botox, serving clients throughout Enfield, Cuffley, Hatfield, St. Albans and other areas in Hertfordshire.
LINES & WRINKLES
Throughout our lifetime, we use our facial muscles repeatedly. The skin becomes creased in areas of greatest use. Collagen and elastin production in the skin, reduces with the ageing process, so the areas of overuse become damaged making the lines become permanent.
Muscle relaxant injections are our most popular anti-ageing treatment. They not only prevent the formation of wrinkles, but also soften existing lines. Popular areas for treatment are frown lines between the eyes (glabella), Crow’s feet (peri-orbita area) and the forehead.
HOW DOES it WORK?
Injections relax the treated muscles, therefore reducing movement. This reduced movement prevents creasing of the skin, thus reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Treatment only works on the specific injected muscles, leaving surrounding muscles to function as normal maintaining natural facial expression.
The results are a smoother, younger-looking appearance, lasting 4 to 6 months.
You can combine Injections with other treatments such as dermal fillers and chemical peels to make your skin look even younger and fresher.

Treatment also works for preventative measures. If the skin is prevented from creasing, wrinkles are not able to develop. The benefits of this treatment have become more impressive over time.
IS it SAFE?
Very few risks combined with remarkable result and no recovery time have made the world’s most popular non-surgical treatment.
Injections have been used in the medical field for over 30 years. It was originally used in the treatment of squints. Since the 80’s Botox has successfully been used for anti-ageing / anti-wrinkle treatments. It has revolutionised the cosmetic industry.
The lips are an important part of your facial beauty. Studies show that wider, fuller lips with well-defined borders are widely considered to be attractive. A perfect example being Angelina Jolie. Her full well defined lips are continually associated with healthy, youthful and attractive looks.
With time our lips gradually lose volume and can develop fine lines around the borders. The corners of the mouth can turn downwards and the cupids bow can become flattened, creating a tired, aged appearance. Dermal fillers create a more defined lip border, enhance thin lips and add overall fullness and balance.
Lip enhancement has become an extremely popular treatment, appealing to both men and women of all ages. Cuffley Village Dental is driven to produce the best results possible; to achieve this we exclusively use the best, safest quality products available.
HOW ARE DERMAL FILLERS ADMINISTERED?
All Village Dental treatments follow a detailed pre-treatment consultation. At this consultation you will discuss with either Tina or Roopa the look you wish to achieve. They will advise you which treatment will be most effective at helping you reach this. A careful examination of your face with a detailed medical history will also be conducted should you decide to proceed with the treatment.
The dermal filler is gently injected into the specified areas of your skin to reduce the depth of the skin crease. The number of injections and exact depth is bespoke to each individual.
The procedure takes up to 30 minutes with the results being visible immediately.
The treated area should be left alone for at least 48 hours, post treatment to let it settle. We advise that you do not have facial or similar treatment that may disturb the products or expose the area to strong sunlight for 2-3 days.
In the days after treatment there may be some redness and minimal swelling which will settle within 1-2 days. Very occasional patients can suffer some bruising at the injection site.
